RAW engine
macOS offers Nikon SDK / Apple RAW / LibRaw / JPG; Windows offers Nikon SDK / LibRaw / JPG.
Export dialog
macOS offers JPEG / HEIF and Folder / Photos.app; Windows offers JPEG and Folder.
HIF / HEIF / HEIC editing
macOS edits natively in 10-bit. Windows edits an 8-bit preview when the required codec is installed.
iCloud / CloudKit
New sync is discontinued. Only macOS retains cleanup for legacy synchronized data.
